What does God have to say about Immigration? How does God intend for us to treat immigrants? Join first, love on Thursday, November 5, 6:00-7:00pm as we take a critical and compassionate perspective of immigration drawing from Old Testament and New Testament scriptures. There’s no more appropriate time ever than now to continue engaging in conversation about the escalating events at the border, and the frustrating lack of response by the government. We welcome all people from all faith backgrounds to join us in discuss a biblical perspective on Immigration.

The world is clearly unjust, but does God even care? Why do Christians seem to be responsible for many injustices? Join first, love at the Claremont Colleges for a virtual webinar featuring Ken Wystma, the author of Pursuing Justice, followed by a panel discussion with three additional Christian leaders in diverse areas of the social justice space. There will be an open Q&A session and time to mingle and continue conversations following. Be one of the first 100 student attendees, and receive a first, love vacuum insulated water bottle and a care package to hand out to someone in need!
